William Kanaan is the principal of the firm. A law graduate, he spent his early career in the City of London becoming a Partner at Biddle & Co (now Pinsent Masons), later working in the Cayman Islands before acting as general counsel for privately held companies based in London with significant international interests.
William is admitted as:
• a Solicitor of the Supreme Court, England & Wales 1994;
• an Attorney at Law, Grand Court of the Cayman Islands 2001; and
• an Attorney and Counsellor at Law, New York 2003.
The variety and scope of William's experience include advising clients in a number of fields such as finance, industry, telecommunications, property and services, both offshore and onshore.
Over the last 20 years, William's international experience has extended to advising clients on issues involving more than 30 different countries in the Middle East, North America, the Caribbean, Africa and Europe.
