PIPER ON THE WATER
I have recently played for a wedding in Christchurch where I was standing in the bow of the bridegroom's yatch and piped the bride and groom along the river to the Captain's Club. Had to take care as we bumped the quay on arrival! It was a great day and a most memorable occasion.I will be piping on another small boat in the next few days as we carry ashes out into Poole Harbour to the tune of "Flowers of the Forest", the special funeral lament.
