Unique amongst golf courses in the United Kingdom, Knole Park Golf Club is located within 1000 acres of outstanding parkland, home to the finest deer herd in the South East. Knole House, one of the greatest National Trust properties in the country, together with Knole Park itself, provides the perfect backdrop to this challenging course that was designed by J.Abercromby and has been enjoyed by its members and visitors since 1924.
The Clubhouse
Knole Park Golf Club is unique amongst golf courses in the United Kingdom as it is situated within 1000 acres of outstanding parkland, home to the finest deer herd in the South East.
The course was designed by J Abercromby and winds its way magically through Knole Park with stunning vistas not only of the Park, but of Knole House itself.
The Club was formally opened in 1924 and has always had a reputation as the finest inland course in Kent and for being a friendly and welcoming place for golfers whether they be Members and their guests, or visitors from this country or overseas.
The Bar
Tradition is the word that springs to mind upon first entering the bar at Knole Park. The walls are surrounded by honour boards with such illustrious names from both amateur and Professional golf as Sam King, Gerald Micklem and Peter Oosterhuis.
In the summer months sitting in the conservatory or on the patio gives an excellent view of both the 1st and 18th holes, and if you are lucky you will get your first glimpse of the beautiful deer that wander unrestricted through the park.
Squash
The Club has two squash courts open to golf members (with no additional membership fee) as well as members of Knole Park Squash Club
The club organises activities for all Squash players including Club Nights, Leagues, Teams, Competitions, and Coaching.
